GUAM

Guam is a U.S. territory located in the Mariana Islands of the western Pacific Ocean.

Known for its stunning natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, Guam is a popular vacation destination.

The capital of Guam is Hagåtña, and although the island covers an area of approximately 544 km², its vibrant atmosphere and diverse tourist attractions draw countless visitors each year.

As the closest U.S. island to Korea, Guam boasts warm weather year-round with beautiful blue skies and seas.

It’s one of the favorite getaway spots for Koreans, filled with various activities, tours, and delicious restaurants that create lasting memories.

The peak tourist season in Guam is from December to April, making it the perfect time to visit now!

From Incheon, Korea, it's a relatively short flight of 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach Guam.

South Korean passport holders can stay in Guam for up to 45 days without a visa, but if you haven't obtained the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), you'll need to fill out a visa application form provided on the plane.

Remember to complete the entire form in English as it’s meant to provide essential information for entering Guam.

Two questions on the form often cause confusion, and the answers to both should be [No]:

1. Have you ever applied for a U.S. immigrant or nonimmigrant visa?

2. Certain individuals are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program under U.S. law.

These include people with certain communicable diseases, and those who fall under specific categories due to their race, religion, etc. (continued...)

Unlike the visa application, the customs declaration form is an online form.

You can complete it up to 72 hours before arriving in Guam, which is convenient.

Visit www.cqa.guam.gov, fill out the form, and present the generated QR code to the customs officer in Guam for scanning.
